Magnets are the products used for different application. Not only it is incredibly helpful for practical purposes but can be used for fun as well. However magnets are having some hazard that we almost ignore. So it is very important to know all about it in detail before having a magnet. Magnet has its magnetic field. If you place two magnets side by side, you can see how they attract each other. Even small magnets have a great magnetic power.

Many types of magnets are available in the market. Among them the commonly used magnet is neodymium; it is used in many applications. Neodymium magnets are the strongest type of magnets in the earth.   • Do not allow your children play with Neodymium magnets. It may cause harm to them.
  • Always keep magnets at a distance of at least 20cm away from sensitive storage and electronic devices.
Neodymium magnets may cause hazard to the health of your children. So they should never be allowed to play with the same.  It has been seen that small magnets sometimes cause blood blisters and cuts while tiny magnets can be the reason on severe injury if swallowed.

It is observed that if more than one magnet is swallowed, then there is a chance that they can attract each other all the way through the walls of the intestines. There is a chance that they get stuck and pinch the digestive tract resulting in major swelling. Often it can be serious enough requiring surgery and even life-threatening injuries. So it is advisable to keep all your neodymium products out of the reach of your children.
